The acquisition at a weighted rate of $117,256 per BTC shows the company’s increasingly bullish manner towards digital assets.
This latest action then aggregates the holdings of Strategy to 628,791 BTC, bought at an average price of $73,277 per coin, estimated to about $46.08 billion of the firm’s Bitcoin investment. Saylor broadcasting through his official X (formerly Twitter) account also suggests that Strategy’s BTC yield has gotten to 25.0 percent year-to-date in 2025.
The purchase was very timely because Bitcoin was almost at its highest level when the trade was carried out. Strategy stock is now one of the most profitable enterprise crypto portfolios globally. Though many firms remain cautious, Strategy has decided to back its Bitcoin-centric approach to the treasury and growth by twice.
Saylor has always compared Bitcoin to “digital gold” and as an alternative to monetary inflation. Strategy through this move reaffirms its prediction of Bitcoin not being an investment just for the time being but the basis of a financial strategy for the long haul.
The crypto market has responded positively, with investor confidence in BTC continuing to rise amid growing institutional interest and favorable regulatory shifts in both the U.S. and Europe.
Although Strategy is often compared to MicroStrategy due to Saylor’s leadership, it now operates as a separate entity with a laser-focused mission: leveraging blockchain-based assets to build a new kind of corporate treasury structure.
As institutions eye Bitcoin more seriously, Strategy’s consistent accumulation and yield performance could serve as a model for future corporate entrants into the digital asset space.
